The Festschrift for Hans W. Hubert brings together art historical contributions under the motto Ars, Eruditio, Delectatio, in which discoveries that are both enlightening and enjoyable can be made. The arc stretches from the Eternal City to Freiburg, from Michelangelo to Guercino, from book covers to tapestries, from Gothic architecture to its reception in the 19th century, and from the early baroque Roman family chapel to the villa of the writer and playboy Malaparte on Capri.
